It's Carers Week - thank you!

It’s National Carers Week! A week to celebrate and recognise the important caring work done by 2.7 million unpaid carers in Australia.

There will be events going on all over Australia this week to acknowledge the work done by unpaid carers and provide them with information and support. Visit Carers Week for a full list of events.

For those of you in NSW, Careseekers will be taking part in events in Wagga Wagga, Newcastle and at Westmead Children’s hospital. If you are around those areas please pop by and say hi. It is a great opportunity to discuss your care needs with us. Details of these events are below.

As we mentioned in our last blog, we have been so inspired by the incredible selfless, unpaid caring done for loved ones by so many of the people who use our service. We want to say thank you to these carers by rewarding anyone who signs up to Careseekers with a gift designed to give some much needed time out.

If you already use us, get a friend to sign up to Careseekers and you will receive one of these gifts too. Sign up for a Careseeker’s Premium Package ($49.95) to find a carer using our online service, and choose between:

  • two hours of free care with a carer of your choice from our website OR
  • two free movie tickets to an Events Cinema.

Sign up for the Careseeker’s Concierge Service ($295) to let us help you find a carer, and choose between:

  • A relaxing pamper session – enjoy an indulgent massage or facial, OR
  • A yummy hamper – feast on some delicious goodies.

This offer runs from Carer’s week (11-18 October) until the end of November. If you have been thinking about trying to get some help to lessen your caring load, now could be the perfect time to use Careseeker’s simple and affordable products and receive something for you in return, visit our site for more details.

Happy Carer’s week.

Thank you for all the hard work you do and please take a break on us.
