Have You Thought About Leading A Team Of Care & Support Workers?

As a care and support worker on the Careseekers platform you may work with a client who has a number of regular Careseekers care and support workers. This 'team' of loyal, regular workers is often highly valued by the client and their family.

Did you know that you can step up to lead this team? Leading a team of regular workers for a client can allow you to be the very best you can be, can advance your career as a care and support worker and allow you to develop skills to help you in your work.

Some questions to ask yourself:

Am I super organised?
Am I completely reliable?
Do I enjoy training others?
Do I enjoy inducting others?
Am I a clear communicator?
Do I show committment?
Am I fair and considerate?

If you answered yes to these questions, you could be a great team leader for your client.

What does team leadership involve?

You would be the main point of contact for complex rostering
You would help to fill shifts if other workers in the team are sick
You would be an advocate for the workers in the team to chat to the client if there are issues with a service
