Up-skilling for care workers in self-isolation
With most of us having more time at home than we are used to, now is a great time to complete on-line courses to advance your skills. Not only is it a purposeful and wonderful way to keep busy, it demonstrates to your clients that you care about their needs, are highly motivated and puts you in a stronger position to secure work.
One of the amazing care workers on the Careseekers platform, Devindra Coutts, has been using his time during self-isolation to complete the following courses:
- The Australian Department of Health COVID-19 Infection Control Training
- NDIS Worker Orientation
Devindra's motivation for completing these courses is his desire to give back to the Australian community and to make a valuable contribution to the lives of others.
Amazing work Devindra and thanks for inspiring us!
If you would like to complete some on-line training courses during this time, we can recommend the following:
NDIS Infection Control
NDIS Worker Orientation
Palliative Care Online Training
Dementia Training
National Disability Practitioners
